Taylor got into computers by crashing servers at Microsoft as a teenager. He was a VC and M&A attorney at Wilson Sonsini in Palo Alto, where he closed over $21 billion in transactions, and prior to joining Lytical Ventures, was the founder and CEO of Keys Inc. (Techstars ’20), one of the first venture-backed generative AI companies. Taylor taught Selected Topics in Venture Capital at Haas School of Business and Berkeley Law and his current speaker series, The Anti-VC Playbook to VC Fundraising, has helped hundreds of founders raise over $100 million in venture capital. Taylor earned his JD from Berkeley School of Law and holds a BA from UC Berkeley.
